Our project porfiolio is incredibly diverse. We design and install almost any project related to (industrial) refrigeration technology: big or small, in-house or far abroad, freezing tunnel or ripening cell. Chiquita - ripening technology

This ripening facility is fully CO2 neutral: all excess heat coming from the ripening rooms is being transported to heat the office areas of the facility. This saves Chiquita 40-45% on energy costs yearly.

Montague - ripening technology

In Brisbane, Australia, we completed a special ripening project at Montague. As an extension to an existing project, eight modern double ripening cells have been added, which can operate individually from each other.

Van Damme - Ripening technology

Van Damme is the largest banana ripening in Belgium. Here, De Laat Koudetechniek has built 20 hypermodern ripening rooms in 2020, next to renovating 40 existing ripening rooms.

Fruit Solute – Ripening technology

At Fruit Solute, mainly mangos and avocados are being ripened. All 29 ripening rooms renewed by De Laat Koudetechniek use a natural refrigerant and modern climate techniques.
